Being Stuck…Is It An Allusion?

We’ve all felt stuck at some point or another, but feeling stuck does not mean we’re staying in one place. Normally we are taking two steps forward on an issue, then two steps back, then another two steps forward and another two back. Yes, we do end up back in the same place we started but we’re not really stuck there. That’s the reality of being stuck.

If you still feel stuck in an issue you can use that feeling as your target for meridian tapping. Say something like “Even though I feel stuck and like I can’t make a move, I accept myself anyway.” Then do the basic meridian tapping rounds for your feeling of being stuck.

If you feel that your job might not give you financial freedom, write an appreciation list of all of the favorable aspects of your work. Are you thinking about leaving your job or changing vocations? Before you do that, write a list of all of the positive aspects about your job so that you can appreciate it for what it does have to offer you. If you then decide to move on to another job you have at least given time and thought about the positives, not only the negatives. You need to leave that position with gratitude and positive feelings in your heart because you cannot move forward to the next position when you are coming from a place of lack.

Another technique that is helpful in getting “unstuck” is meditation. Meditation helps you to connect with your true inner self so that you can get the direction you need to move forward. It only takes ten minutes a day of sitting on your couch, laying on your bed or sitting on the floor to focus yourself inward toward your heart. (No certain position is required. Be in whatever position you are most comfortable. That’s what matters.) Explore your heart and inner person. Take time to listen to what your inner self has to say. Examine your feelings. Some people find that saying a mantra, counting or listening to their breath is most helpful to their ability to focus. This is not necessary however. Inside of us, we have an inner voice. When you don’t listen to your inner voice you are listening to external directions from other people or institutions. Listening to ourselves is something that all humans need to work on. Outside influences carry too much weight with us sometimes and can distract us.

Sometimes you might want to tap on any acupressure point to begin meditating, as this tapping will calm you down. Soothe yourself with deep, flowing breaths and relaxing thoughts or humming. Set a good intention by saying “This is my twenty minutes of meditation where no one and nothing will bother me.”

Maybe you’re a business owner who can’t figure out how to attract more clients. The Law of Attraction states what you think about you bring about, so are you going to focus on not having enough clients? No, of course not. If you want more clients make a list of what you love about the clients you do have right now. The universe is happy to give you more of what you’re thinking about, so think about all the great clients you do have and then sit back and watch more and more come through your door.

Then you can look at what your beliefs are and what is keeping you from attracting more clients. Find your reason, which is a tappable issue. We block our own attraction abilities. Find out why you block your ability to attract clients. Find out what your belief is, then tap on it.

Lots of people love talking about the Law of Attraction but are pretty hesitant to use it. One of the best parts about the Law of Attraction is that it’s so simple, and the exercises involved in using it in your life are fun to do and show quick results. When you make your gratitude lists and your “as if” gratitude lists, focus on the feelings. The words on the page are not as important as the feelings they evoke, and you will find more and more of these same feelings like breadcrumbs dotting your path and showing you the way. If you have a feeling that is holding you back you can meet it head on, blast through it, and expand your horizons.

The Law of Attraction principles coupled with meridian tapping and meditation is a great regiment for getting unstuck, staying unstuck, and finally attracting exactly what you want into your life.
